How to register

Registration

All participants are required to register through the online registration system and advised to register in advance to take advantage of the early bird registration fees.

Authors Registration

At least one author of each accepted paper must register to the conference (full registration). Papers without at least one registered author will not be published. Each full registration fee allows to publish only one (1) manuscript. Only for registered authors, additional accepted papers can be published with an extra paper fee of 100.00 Euros per manuscript. Accepted papers will be included in the digital conference proceedings, provided the full registration fee or extra paper fee is paid by May 15th 2023 (deadline to send papers to the Publisher).

No refund provided for author registrations referred to the publication of one accepted paper.

  • Cancellation 1 April 2023 – 31 July 2023: 30% refund
  • Cancellation after 31 July 2023: No refund

  1. Only IGS members can take advantage of the special registration fees. Please check your membership status on the IGS website (http://www.geosyntheticssociety.org/members).
  2. This rate applies to registered full-time students in a university, college or engineering school. Please note that documentary proof must be uploaded in the online registration system.
  3. Entitlements only on the day of registration (access to all sessions, access to the exhibition, conference materials, USB electronic proceedings, lunch and coffee breaks. Social events not included).

Short Courses

No. 5 Short Courses will be held on Sunday, 17th September 2023

  1. Only IGS members can take advantage of the special registration fees. Please check your membership status on the IGS website (http://www.geosyntheticssociety.org/members).
  2. The student fee applies to registered full-time students in a university, college or engineering school. Please note that documentary proof must be uploaded in the online registration system.
  3. The short course fees include: access to selected course, lunch and coffee breaks on Sunday 17th September 2023.

Online Credit Card

  • Payment by credit card is available only through the online registration. Online registration deadline: 11th September 2023

Bank Transfer

  • All bank remittance charges are to be paid by registrants. Any balances should be paid on-site to complete registration.
  • Registrant’s name has to be mentioned in purpose of the payment.
  • Appropriate payment should be completed within the corresponding period of registration. If you fail to pay by a determined period deadline, registration cannot be confirmed.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation must be notified to the secretariat in writing by email [email protected] .
  • All refunds will be made after the event.
  • All bank charges and all administration fees suffered from AGI will be deducted from all conference registration refunds.
  • Please refer to the following cut-off dates for cancellation.
  • No refund for author registrations referred to the publication of one accepted paper.
